Blogiversary Celebration – Breast Is Best – CLOSED

Today’s Blogiversary spotlight is on a company called Breast Is Best. They are based out of Canada and I first discovered them when my Nursing Undershirtson was an infant. I ordered some tops from their website and really liked them. There are a few things that really stood out about this company for me as a nursing mom. As you may have read in some of my previous posts, I was a 40G when my son was born, so finding nursing tops to accommodate my extra large bosom was very difficult. I liked Breast Is Best as a nursing mom because they have tops that come in plus sizes (which can be very difficult to find in a nursing top!) and they aren’t form fitting – so for someone like me who doesn’t want to draw attention to those extra rolls on my belly – the designs from Breast Is Best are very flattering. Not only that, but they also make swimsuits with easy nursing access and they have a fantastic item – a nursing undershirt that goes underneath any shirt you are wearing to convert it into a nursing top. For me, as a new mom, I didn’t care if someone got a glimpse of my breast – but I didn’t want them to see my belly!! So I wore nursing tops all of the time. And this undershirt is one thing that enables you to convert any of your tops into nursing tops!! I love it!! And best of all – it comes in sizes S through 2X, so there is something to fit every size and shape mom! And even better yet – it comes in SIX scrumptious colors!!

MamasBestNursingBraVery recently, Breast Is Best launched a new product called the Mama’s Best Nursing Bra. It is nursing bra made from bamboo fiber, which makes it super soft and luxurious! Not only that, but it is eco-friendly too – so better for you and better for the environment! It is so comfortable you can wear it all day and all night! Niki, the owner of Breast Is Best sent me one for review. I am a 36D or 34DD now so she sent me a size M and I have to say that I LOVE this bra!! It is so soft and comfortable and it really gives great support. It has a snap on each shoulder for nursing access and it is super easy to use. Mama's Best Nursing Bra I wore sleep bras until my son was 2.5 years old and this one would have been perfect for that! But like I said, it has enough support to be worn during the day as well. I liked this bra so much, I even included a photo of myself wearing it in this post!! Take a look and let me know what you think!

I’ve only recently become educated in Eco Friendly products and the more I know the more I know its better for my family. It scares me all the chemicals and products in some stuff, and I want to protect my family and our Earth

I’m *hugely* into eco-friendly when it comes to my nursling. We cloth diaper, use cloth wipes, make our own baby washing solutions, use awesome reusable cloth nursing pads, and breastfeed so we have a smallish environmental impact. Eco-friendly is exceedinglt important to me, because if we don’t eco it up, what kind of world will our nurslings grow up to? And what kind of health will they have with all the environmental toxins?

  4. Megan says:

I wish I would have been more educated before becoming pregnant on how to be more “green.” It is so important, especially as a nursing mother to be “eco-friendly” because not only do you want to take care of the earth so that it will be there for your little one, everything you eat, drink, wear, etc. effects your child.

I’m becoming more and more eco-aware and so these products are super important to me. I never really think about what my clothes are made of since I wash them… but yeah, after the BPA stuff when my son was little I’m way more aware of what happens around babies and it’s super important!

Eco-friendly products are becoming more and more important to me every day. I just started blogging a couple months ago, and linking up with other green-minded mommy bloggers has inspired me to make so many little changes in my life. I have really gotten into bamboo, too, so this bra excites me!

A lot has changed in the last 3.5 years since my oldest was born. This time around I pay a lot more attention to eco-friendly products. They are a lot more affordable now too!

Being eco friendly is big to me since I want the best for myself and my family. Learning about all the stuff that has been coming out has been rather scary.

Eco friendly products are very important to me, but I just realized that I don’t pay too much attention to clothing. I have never tried bamboo, I would love to .

  11. Brigid says:

I’m pretty granola as it is, so I always try to get the most earth friendly products I can. I usually don’t buy anyting new unless I have to, like nursing bras!

  12. I think that Eco-friendly products are really important. I want to do my part and I am slowly but surely using more and more eco-friendly products.

  13. Christina says:

Ecofriendly products are important, but not super-important. Ideally, everything I bought and wore would be eco-friendly because it is both healthier and better for the environment. Unfortunately, I am usually not financially in a position to buy eco-friendly things because they are often a lot more.

  14. adrian says:

Eco-friendly products are not my highest priority, although this bamboo bra sounds like a great product.

Eco friendly products are very important to me and my family. There is a native american saying that we don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children. I think that is so true and try to keep it in mind when making my purchasing decisions.

  18. Dare says:

As an environmental geared blogger and mommy… eco-friendly attire of any kind is very important to me! Sustainability is a key factor in helping the environment. Bamboo also makes healthier & more durable fabrics.

  19. Eco friendly products are very important to me. When I was pregnant I spent hours cutting out batting, flannel, and material and when I was done my Mom sewed me washable breast pads. I use them every day! I could not imagine having to waste and throw away all of those breast pads daily.

  21. Jasmin says:

Eco-friendly products are extremely important to me. Everyday I strive to be as green as possible, that includes being non-disposable, eco-friendly products, companies with moral, legit business practices and saving all resources as much as possible! Being a nursing mom really helps because not only do I save money but I don’t create any waste from cans of formula.

  22. Jaimie says:

I feel a little out of place saying this–I have never really been into all the “green” stuff. Of course, I don’t mind having it; in fact, I’m very happy to use the stuff. However, my budget doesn’t really allow for me to buy all of the expensive versions of everything. I like to be eco-friendly, but it’s not a necessity to me. Are you still going to enter me in?! ;)

I tried to create an eco friendly lifestyle for years before i considered having children. Now that I am a parent, it is even more important for our family not only to do our part, but to go above and beyond as an example to others and my daughter and for her overall wellbeing.
