Jewelry For Motherhood Launch And Official Contest

If you have been reading our blog, then you knew that this was coming today. We have been dropping hints in our Wordless Wednesday posts for the last two weeks about this collection and we are SO PLEASED to announce the JEWELRY FOR MOTHERHOOD Collection called Intertwined Love ~ Mother & Child from Kadin James!

Right in the center of this image is the piece that we had custom designed exclusively for our boutique. Does it look familiar? Well, it should! It is the breastfeeding mother that is part of our boutique logo. After having several moms tell us how much they love our logo and asked if we had ever considered making it into a piece of jewelry, we decided to go ahead and find something that would work. We looked high and wide and in the process we came across many different jewelry designers. They all had great ideas and we had several beautiful logo designs made. We finally picked the designer that we were going to work with and it was Kadin James Designs. Her collection complemented what we wanted to do so perfectly that it gave us the opportunity to not only make our logo into a beautiful piece of jewelry that any mom would be proud to wear, but it also gave us the ability to offer a whole collection of jewelry – perfectly named JEWELRY FOR MOTHERHOOD.

Now that we have this great piece – WE NEED YOUR HELP to launch it! All of the pieces by Kadin James Designs have lovely soft names. We need a name for our custom piece and we are hoping that all of you breastfeeding moms will help us to come up with one. To sweeten the pot, we are going to give one lucky mama a FREE sterling sliver pendant. The winner will be the person who gives us the best name for this pendant. So think away and write your perfect name in the comments section!!

Contest Rules:
1) You must be located in the US or Canada to win.
2) You must leave a comment with a name for our logo pendant. Be creative – it should be soft, yet descriptive. It should show the love between a mother and child and should highlight the beauty of breastfeeding. We know you are more creative than we are. There is no limit to the length of the name, but we’d prefer something that is two to four words long.

We can’t give away the final designed pendant to everyone, but we would like to thank all of you for doing your best to spread the word about this contest and for helping us to pick a unique name for it. So everyone (those of you who don’t come up with the winning name) will be entered into a random drawing to win one of the sample pendants that we had made up while we were looking for an artist to work with. There are 4 samples pendants (all are made from Pure Silver (99.99%) from two different artists, and they will be given away on a first-responded, first-choice basis.
