So many women are so nervous about nursing in public! I think they'd be surprised if they watched their baby nurse in a mirrir - what we see as "exposed" looking down on them is usually quite modest and covered up (by baby's head!) from the front. I'm nursing baby #3 anywhere and everywhere, like his siblings. So many women are so nervous about nursing in public! I think they’d be surprised if they watched their baby nurse in a mirrir – what we see as “exposed” looking down on them is usually quite modest and covered up (by baby’s head!) from the front.

I nurse my children in public and I'm on baby three now. I remember with my first would escape to the bathroom or hide, I was nervous and uptight. My second, forget the bathroom and now I do what I need too. I have found it a lot easier when you have nursing apparel. I never gave it a fair chance before but it really helps and that's all I'll wear when I'm going out now! Good luck and breastfeeding mothers need to stick together.
