Thanks for a good post about this!

So many women are so nervous about nursing in public! I think they'd be surprised if they watched their baby nurse in a mirrir - what we see as "exposed" looking down on them is usually quite modest and covered up (by baby's head!) from the front.

I'm nursing baby #3 anywhere and everywhere, like his siblings. We're quite a modest family, so I'm not one to casually expose myself... but I've nver had a problem, and always felt it was FAR "worth it"!!

Excellent post! I nurse my children in public and I'm on baby three now. I remember with my first would escape to the bathroom or hide, I was nervous and uptight. My second, forget the bathroom and now I do what I need too. I have found it a lot easier when you have nursing apparel. I never gave it a fair chance before but it really helps and that's all I'll wear when I'm going out now! Good luck and breastfeeding mothers need to stick together. If you see someone out there, breastfeeding tell them good for them! =)
