Breastfeeding And Weddings

Lots of breastfeeding moms are attending weddings and other formal events. They want to be able to nurse their babies while looking just as good as the other attendees at the event! And most of all, they want to be able to nurse without having to disrobe. “NICE” dresses are one of the most requested items in our boutique. To help you pick out the perfect dress for your special occasion, we’d like to highlight some our best sellers. The first three dresses are our most dressy – and the ones that almost everyone will want to wear to a wedding or other formal event. The next set of dresses are still beautiful, but not quite as formal:

Our Dressiest Dresses

Our most popular dress is so popular, we had to wait for it to be back in stock so that we could post this story. It is a lovely classic dress that is perfect for just about any occasion where you would want to wear a dress – be it church, a wedding or a family photo! This dress is perfect!! And best of all – it pretty much stays wrinkle free – so it will be ready whenever you are – no need to iron! This dress is called the Classic Kora Maternity & Nursing Dress and it can be worn by pregnant and breastfeeding moms alike.

Our second dressy dress is brand new from Japanese Weekend Maternity. It is from the “During & After” or “d&a” collection and is also designed to be worn both during pregnancy and after for discreet nursing. This dress comes in a print or a solid pattern and is just delightful. It is a lighter material than the Classic Kora and has a slightly higher neckline for those who like to be a little more discreet. It is called the Luxe Tipped Dress and it beautiful!! Look great while pregnant and keep wearing it after the baby comes to breastfeeding in style no matter where you are!

The final dress in our dressiest of dresses list is also from Japanese Weekend’s d&a line and is called The 4/1 Dress Go Skirt. Why such an odd name – well it is because this dress can actually be 6 different dresses/ensembles – it can be a skirt or a dress and it can be all black or a colorful mosaic pattern. It can also be worn with or without a jacket. This dress doesn’t have any specific nursing access, but is designed to just pull-aside for nursing access. The jacket provides a perfect cover-up for discretion while nursing.

The following dresses are lovely, but are made from a slightly more casual fabric than those described above. Many moms have worn these to weddings and other special occasions as well. If you are looking for a great comfy dress – any one of these would suit your needs.
